
Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of Special and General Education (IJSGE) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published manuscripts.
1. Initial Screening

Each submission is evaluated by the editorial team for relevance, originality, and compliance with journal guidelines.

Manuscripts that do not meet basic standards may be rejected without external review.
2. Double-Blind Review

Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

Methodological rigor

Ethical standards

Significance of findings

Clarity and presentation

3. Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers may recommend one of the following:

Accept
-
Minor revision
-
Major revision
-
Reject
4. Revision Process

Authors are required to respond to reviewers’ comments point-by-point.

Revised manuscripts may undergo additional rounds of review if necessary.
5. Editorial Decision

Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewer reports and editorial judgment.

Decisions are unbiased and based solely on merit.
6. Misconduct & Ethics

Suspected plagiarism, data manipulation, or ethical violations will be investigated following COPE guidelines.

Manuscripts with serious ethical issues will be rejected.
