Refund Policy

The International Journal of Special and General Education (IJSGE) maintains a transparent and fair Refund Policy to ensure clarity for authors regarding Article Processing Charges (APCs) and other publication-related fees.

1. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Once an article has been submitted and sent for peer review, the APC or processing fee becomes non-refundable.

  • Fees paid for fast-track review, language editing, or other optional services are also non-refundable after the service has begun.

2. Refunds Before Peer Review

  • If an author decides to withdraw the manuscript before it enters peer review, a refund may be issued after deducting administrative charges.

  • The request must be made in writing to the editorial office.

3. Duplicate Payment

  • In case of accidental duplicate payment, the author must provide proof of transaction.

  • The journal will issue a full refund of the duplicate amount.

4. Withdrawal After Acceptance

  • If an author withdraws the article after acceptance or intentionally delays the publication process, no refund will be issued.

5. Article Rejection

  • If the article is rejected during peer review, the APC—if already paid—may be partially or fully refunded depending on the stage of the review and services provided.

6. Technical or Publisher Error

  • If the journal fails to publish the article due to an internal or technical error, a full refund will be issued to the author, or the article may be moved to the next issue with the author’s consent.

7. Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days through the same payment method used by the author.
